Scaramucci did his best to quiet rumors that a TV show featuring Avenatti and him was in the works, saying, "He's got his lane, I got my lane. I don't see a show."

Colbert also asked Avenatti to assess the latest news about Michael Cohen and what it meant for Donald Trump.

"There's no question in my mind he's going to be indicted, and there's no question in my mind he's going to try to flip on the president," Avenatti said. "I think Michael Cohen is in a very, very bad spot, and I think the president is in a very, very bad spot because this is what happens when you trust your innermost secrets to a moron."

The comments followed a monologue bit in which Colbert, in explaining a news report that Cohen may flip on Trump, said: "The first sign that Cohen is about the flip is that his lawyers are not expected to work with him going forward, and replacements for the lawyers have not been named. He should hire my guest tonight, Michael Avenatti. I hear the last lawyer to go up against him ... is about to get arrested."

    Hello pot, meet kettle.

Once the trump dark cloud passes by, we'd come back again American brothers and sisters..I have no doubt.

Cohen would stay out of prison and be set financially for life if he flipped. Between movie, book and speaking fees he would become very wealthy. Either way he will never work as a lawyer again. Burn the POTUS and save your family Michael. It's the only way.

I'M not saying trump isn't all those things and more, but Avenetti is NO angel himself, and is calling the kettle black.......you know what they say about people in glass houses..................

  • Anthony

Trump is in trouble because Trump and many people who work for him, including but not limited to Cohen, are morons.

  • stagerightinthemiddle

Avenatti is certainly making the most of his media rounds.

But then again, he's got 10 million reasons to keep doing so.

The DOTUS doing exactly what his master Putin told him to do. Lobbying for Russia to reenter the G7, following Putin's order to cease the Korean military drills. . all that is nothing compared to the danger of Putin's instruction to tRump to destroy our economy. THAT is what this trade war is about, America!

It is so easy to think he is just a old orange fool, but he is dangerous, folks!

Was there any election laws that Trump and his cohorts didn't violate?

They hypocrisy in politics and peoples views on those in political office are astounding and disappointing at the same time.
The Republican's have long ran on the concept of family and faithfulness, but now dismiss all of that with Trump.
The Democrats have long ran on the concept of not judging people for their individual sexual lives. but now are saying this is an issue with Trump.

Trump has been pretty bullet proof so far...not sure what could change that.

Most Trump's supporters are experiencing an irrational fear of people who are unlike themselves (Muslims, Mexicans, blacks, immigrants, etc.) as well as they are experiencing an irrational believe that Trump would help them to get rid of said unlike people (Trump is a self-serving man, he wouldn't help anyone). Both this thoughts are totally delusional! I sincerely recommend most Trump supporters to seek psychiatric help before it is too late!

I just watched the show I'm on the West Coast. In my region HDTV signal dropped and the screen went to black during Scaramucci's first interview answer. It lasted about 5-6 minutes and came back on when they were finishing up.

    Coincidence? I think not.

  • Pingy

Notice how Trump never goes up against Michael Avenatti. Interesting... probably because he knows Michael Avenatti will tear him to shreds.

    The morons leading the morons.

The late night comedians / hosts don't even have to try anymore with this total joke being POTUS, now doesn't that help in making everyone feel so much prouder about being an American on the global stage today? The worlds not laughing with US anymore, but they sure are laughing at US, and all thanks for that goes directly to the tump.
